The regional education bureau has started a people’s movement to help improve the infrastructure of schools in Semera.
The president of the region Awel Arba who was present at the movement stage said that every community should stand up to improve and support the schools they learn.
Our focus should be on the schools where generations will be touched, said the principal, mother and the school they studied will never be forgotten.
We have to remember our school where we bought our knowledge and we have to do our part to improve our children.
The representative of the Minister of Education Mr. Yesew Zer Belay, who delivered another message on the stage, has said that different communities, stakeholders and leaders can directly participate in the movement to improve the standard of schools.
They said the main aim of the movement is to support the education system sustainably and to improve the infrastructure of schools.
The head office of the Prosperity Party, civic associations and political parties sector manager Mr. Meles Alemu has said that education is the key tool for everything.
They have stated that the quality problem in the education sector is known and there is a lot of disturbance.
The problem of quality education is the lack of infrastructure of schools, so teaching to learn has remained a practice. They have pointed out that the movement will lay a big foundation for the next generation.
Federal and regional high officials have attended the ceremony.
